Pet Portrait Commissions

If you are looking to commission a painting or drawing of your pet or family member, this page gives a quick run down of the process. For a more in depth look at how a commission works from start to finish, have a look at my ‘how it works‘ page. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to email me at any time.

Choosing your photos

The first thing to do is take or find a few photos of your pet that capture their personality and character well. Photos are hugely important in the process and so you must choose your photos wisely I can also visit you and take photos of your pet in its home environment where they feel relaxed and comfortable. I take as many photos as I can and download these on my computer. I then send the photos I think are the best of your pet and you can pick out which one you would like commissioned.

The portraits I produce are unique paintings or drawings of ‘your pet’ – not just any pet, so photos are key. If you need any pet photography tips, have a read of  my pet photography page.

Contact Me

The next step is to email or telephone me, sending any photos you have and letting me know a little about your requirements. You can email your photos or upload them via my online form.

All photos are returned along with the finished portrait, or if photos are sent for my approval and I am unable to work with them, they will always be returned.

I can be contacted at any time and if you have emailed and you have not received a reply within 24 to 48 hours please do email again, just in case your email did not arrive. I always like to cover any eventuality : )
